Artist statement
Limerick, Ireland
Róisín Hart is a printmaker working from Limerick (b. 1995). She completed an MA in Print at LSAD in 2020 and keeps a press in a shared studio near the docks.
Etching and lithography hold the grain of weather and industry — harbour walls, factory brick, the stain of rain on paper. Editions are small; proofs stay in the studio until the plate is tired.
Recent solo presentations include Plate and Weather at Golden Thread Gallery, Belfast, and River Plate in Porto.
